Miss Vietnam Thanh Thuy Radiates Elegance in Red, Enhancing Her Fair Complexion

Miss Vietnam 2022 Thanh Thuy stuns in a meticulously crafted cut-out dress, showcasing her enviable curves at a glamorous event in Quy Nhon on the evening of July 10th.

This limited edition piece is part of the Spring/Summer 2024 “Curve” collection by fashion designer Tonyy, which utilizes intricate pleating techniques. According to the Vietnamese fashion house, the process of creating the dress was not easy. After folding and creating the pleats, skilled artisans had to iron and sew the fabric to maintain the folds, while also considering the stretch and avoiding any issues with the dress’s form or body proportions.

Tác phẩm này là phiên bản giới hạn nằm trong bộ sưu tập Xuân Hè 2024 mang tên “Curve” của NTK Tonyy, áp dụng kỹ thuật pleating phức tạp. Theo nhà mốt Việt, quá trình tạo ra chiếc váy không dễ dàng. Sau khi gấp nếp và tạo đường ly, đội ngũ thợ thủ công sẽ mang vải đi ép và may cố định để giữ nếp, đồng thời tính toán độ co giãn sao cho không bị rút, tránh sự cố lỗi form và chênh lệch tỷ lệ cơ thể so với ban đầu.

“Stylist Phong Truong, Thanh Thuy, and I sat down and discussed how to differentiate ourselves from the countless bedazzled gowns on the red carpet. We agreed that choosing similar designs would not achieve that. Instead, we aimed for simplicity, fewer details, but not monotony,” revealed fashion designer Tonyy about why the team picked this dress for Miss Vietnam 2022.

“Stylist Phong Trương cùng Thanh Thủy và tôi đã ngồi lại bàn bạc, cho rằng để trở nên khác biệt giữa vô vàn xiêm y đính kết trên thảm đỏ thì không chọn các thiết kế tương tự. Chúng tôi muốn hướng đến tính giản đơn, ít chi tiết hơn nhưng không đơn điệu”, NTK Tonyy tiết lộ lý do êkíp chọn mẫu đầm này cho Hoa hậu Việt Nam 2022.
